Heroes Team Challenge
The Heroes Team Challenge was specifically created for the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday. We've slightly adapted the standard Metro Dash course to provide a unique challenge for military, law enforcement, and fire/EMS personnel. During the Heroes Team Challenge, teams of 2 will compete against each other. The fastest teams win. Awards will be given to the top three fastest teams.
In order to make the Heroes Team Challenge even more competitive, we are pitting military, law enforcement, and fire/EMS against each other. We will average the times of these three groups, and the group with the fastest average time wins. Metro Dash will donate $500 to a charity that directly supports the winning group.
To be eligible for the Heroes Team Challenge you must:
- Present a valid military, law enforcement, or fire/EMS ID at check-in
- Wear boots and fatigues (BDUs)
- Complete the course while carrying one 50lb sandbag per team (provided by Metro Dash)
