Metro Dash is a timed event, and the fastest time wins. Every athlete is timed and scored on an individual basis regardless of the ticket type purchased. Only athletes who registered for an "elite" start time are eligible for awards. The top 20 fastest males and the top 20 fastest females from the "elite" waves will run the course a second time at 10:30 AM. Each athlete's second finish time will be added to his/her first finish time. The top three male and female athletes with the fastest cummulative finish times win.
